Tea Party Congressman Rothfus was re-elected to a 2nd term in 2014 with 59% of the vote.

What our plants are telling us about climate change.  (Pennlive, 4/23/2013)
Things like bugs, diseases and weeds also are behaving differently.

Some bugs, he says, are now surviving winter or producing two or three generations per season instead of one or two.

Diseases like verticillium wilt are thriving in the warmer soil temperatures and killing long-time northern favorites like sugar maples, which don’t appreciate hotter summers either.

And warm-preferring weeds such as kudzu (the “vine that ate the South”) and mile-a-minute weed are expanding their range into Pennsylvania.

5% lifetime rating (3% in 2014) from the League of Conservation Voters.
