CNN/ORC Poll: 2016 Republican Primary Preferences

Link to latest CNN/ORC poll results.

The 2014 preferences in table format.

It's a horse race, folks, and one what has a terribly long way to go.

The candidates have remained in a tight pack so far this year, with CNN/ORC indicating two lead changes taking place.

Mike Huckabee took the lead in the 1st poll of the year but hasn't been able to maintain his pace.  Rand Paul showed some spirit and finished in first place in the next three polls but wasn't able to put any distance himself and the rest of the pack.

The latest poll shows Chris Christie surging, now that the George Washington bridge scandal is no longer in the news.

Scott Walker, a late entry, got off to a quick start, but remains at the back of the pack, just ahead of the never-say-die Rick Santorum.
