Wisconsin Public Library Revenue 2000-2011: Municipal, County, All Other

From the 2011 Wisconsin Public Library Service Data.

After 2002, Graph 1 indicates a slow, steady increase in municipal appropriations -- an increase of 2.7% in 2011, following an increase of 0.47% in 2010.  No overall decrease in municipal revenue was recorded during this time period.

The general trend line in Graph 2 shows a steeper ascent from  2000 to 2011, although the increase from 2010 to 2011 was just 1.3%.  NOTE:  This graph does not include appropriations from nonsystem counties -- a total of $2,168,161 in 2011.  I plan to update the graph when time permits.

As for Graph 3, I'm open to explanations as to why there was an 18% increase in "all other" income from 2005 to 2006. Since 2007, it appears that what goes up must come down in this revenue category.

Of course, none of these tables takes inflation into account.  (Not sure if I have the inclination to tackle this add-on, but we'd obviously see a flattening effect.)
