Who's Running for State Office in Wisconsin 2012: 48th Assembly District (General Election Edition)

Open seat.  Currently held by Chris Taylor (D-Madision, who is running in the 76th.

The Democratic candidate:  Melissa Sargent

It is, perhaps, a tribute to Melissa's wide-ranging political knowledge and skills and her fierce commitment to a grass-roots democratic process that she had no opposition in the Democratic primary.   (Full disclosure:  JoAnna and I are good friends with Melissa and her husband Justin, who is the Chief of Staff for State Sen. Chris Larson).

Nichols, John.  Twenty-five Faces of an American Uprising.  The Nation, 2/14/2012.
Dane County Supervisor Melissa Sargent is one of the 25.

The Libertarian Candidate::  Terry Gray
