Congratulations to Charlotte Walch Davies on Her Retirement

Excerpt:   Kilbourn Public Library is losing a longtime employee as Youth Services Director Charlotte Walch Davies retires at the end of the month.

For the past 23 years, Davies has held a position at the library. She came in 1988 as director. In 2003, she became youth services director, in charge of the children's book collection, delivering story hour, sometimes by use of puppets, and leading crafts for parents and children.

Davies, 63, grew up in Wisconsin Dells. As a high school student she worked for the Wisconsin Dells Visitor and Convention Bureau and helped people find hotels, something she said she liked.
