A Letter-Writer's Collection Development Suggestion

Link to April 4 letter to editor in Oshkosh Northwestern,"Libraries should carry more copies of Bible".

Excerpt:   Take all of the evil books out and most of the fiction books from the public libraries and replace them with Holy Bibles.

This country and the rest of the world was founded on God's Word.

[snip]

We need more Holy Bibles in the library so we can read/study facts that we all need. The Holy Bible gives needed instruction. Evil, fiction, computers, TV are not our help.

Retiring Guy suggests that Mr. Lavicka visit the Oshkosh Public Library -- or at least check the holdings of the Winnefox Library System.  There is already an abundance of Bibles and Bible-related materials in a variety of formats -- print, audio, video -- on the shelves.
