Excerpt: The libraries in Pardeeville and Wyocena may be separated by three miles and 95 years, but they have one thing in common. They both celebrate milestone anniversaries in 2010.

Friends and workers at Angie Williams Cox Public Library in Pardeeville are open to suggestions as to ways to celebrate the library's 100th anniversary, said Library Director Gary Yurgil.

The Wyocena Public Library is already issuing invitations to the open house in celebration of its fifth birthday, scheduled for 4 to 6 p.m. April 17 at the library, located inside the Wyocena Community Building, 165 E. Dodge St.
