Local Government Institute to Unveil Plan to Transform Government by Consolidation and More Efficient Service Delivery

Comprehensive Report to be Released at Press Conference by Group Representing Counties, Cities, Towns and Villages

It’s time to transform government by consolidating service delivery and doing it more efficiently to save taxpayer dollars. Such is the message from a group representing all local units of government in Wisconsin, who will release “A Roadmap for Government Transformation,” at a Capitol press conference this week.

The Local Government Institute of Wisconsin (LGI), a collaboration of the associations representing the League of Wisconsin Municipalities, the Wisconsin Counties Association, the Wisconsin Towns Association and the Alliance of Cities, will discuss their recommendations for streamlining local government on:
